About GEMS Women's Ministry

GEMS is the Women's Ministry at Journey Christian Church. GEMS stands for:

G - Grow in God's Love
E - Encourage One Another
M - Minister to the Lost
S - Serve those in Need

We are a growing ministry that currently includes a Wednesday Night Bible Study, some Service/Minister Projects, and a monthly Ladies Lunch or Dinner event open to all the ladies of our church.

This group will include a centralized Events Calendar of all events scheduled for GEMS, regardless of which group. We will also use this group to communicate through email or the chat feature.

Please consider joining our GEMS Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study and GEMS Ladies' Lunch Groups for information specific to those groups.

NEW STUDY STARTING AUGUST 13TH

We will kick off our new study, ***Walking with Jesus Through the Gospel of John*, on August 13th. Materials will be provided. We hope to see you there.**

A note from Tricia on our upcoming study:
In our time together in this study of John we are going to be looking at the path Jesus Himself walked; learning about His life, character, actions and words, and how He responded to the various circumstances He was in and to the many different people whose lives He touched. We are going to be walking with Him, putting ourselves there beside Him on the path. We’re focusing on not just learning about Jesus, but learning from Jesus. In the process we will be growing in our understanding of how to walk as Jesus walked, as our theme verse says, "Whoever claims to live in Him, must walk as Jesus walked." 1 John 2:6
